Skellig Gold Rush
A fresh Irish take on the classic Gold Rush, made with Skellig Six18 Small Batch Irish Whiskey, honey and fresh orange.
Our Skellig Six18 twist brings the rounded character of our Atlantic Aged Irish Whiskey together with the natural sweetness of honey and bright citrus, finished with an aromatic sprig of rosemary. Simple, balanced and made to let the whiskey lead.
Ingredients
Honey Syrup
Stir together until the honey has completely dissolved. Allow to cool before using.
Method
Add the Skellig Six18 Small Batch Irish Whiskey, fresh orange juice and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Fill with ice and shake well until chilled.
Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
Garnish
Fresh orange peel and rosemary.
Express the orange peel over the drink, then gently clap the rosemary between your hands to release its aroma before adding it to the glass.
