2023 Release
Our first-ever Distillery Exclusive, this expression is quite simply Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey bottled at cask strength. After initial maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels, whiskey is finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry and ex-peated Scotch casks. Leaving this whiskey at a robust cask strength of 58.4% allows for a variation in the flavours picked up by the palette when compared with the original release at 43%. For example, peated notes are more noticeable in this cask strength version.
Released in June 2023 and now completely sold out.
