Recipe

A fresh, floral spritz with a distinctly Skellig Six18 character. Elderflower and fresh mint bring a light botanical sweetness to the gin, while lime adds a bright citrus lift. Finished with Prosecco and soda water, it is crisp, refreshing and made for slow afternoons and easy-going gatherings.

Six18 Hugo Spritz

Ingredients

35 ml Skellig Six18 Artisanal Irish Gin
20 ml elderflower cordial
75 ml Prosecco
50 ml soda water
6-8 fresh mint leaves
1 lime wedge

Method

Gently scrunch the mint leaves in a large wine glass to release their aroma. Add the elderflower cordial and Skellig Six18 Gin, then fill the glass with ice. Top with Prosecco and soda water, and gently stir to combine.

Garnish

Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and lime wedge.

The Perfect Serve

Serve well chilled in a large wine glass, filled generously with ice. The combination of fresh mint, elderflower and lime brings out the botanical character of Skellig Six18 Gin, while Prosecco and soda give the drink its light, sparkling finish.
