Skellig Six18 Old Fashioned

Ingredients

• 60ml Skellig Six18 Small Batch Irish Whiskey
• 1 sugar cube (or 7.5ml simple syrup)
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• A few drops of water
• Large block of ice
• Orange peel, to garnish

Method

1. Place the sugar cube into a rocks glass and add the bitters and a few drops of water.
2. Stir gently until the sugar begins to dissolve.
3. Add a large block of ice.
4. Pour over the Skellig Six18 Small Batch Irish Whiskey.
5. Stir for around 20 seconds until perfectly chilled.
6. Express the oils from a fresh orange peel over the glass and use it as your garnish.
