There is a sense of peace, balance and serenity that surrounds artist Regine Bartsch and her studio in the old O’Neill’s hardware shop, on West Main Street; but don’t underestimate this lady. She has just arrived back from exhibiting at the Venice Biennale 2019. Originally from Germany, she lived in Finland and Syria before settling in Cahersiveen where she thrives, with wit, determination and ambition. Regine is very much a proud Cahersiveen woman, and Cahersiveen is very proud of her.
